MICROBIAL ELECTROCHEMICAL CELL

Lab Research · Bioelectrochemistry

Designed and operated a Microbial Electrochemical Cell (MEC) to study bioelectrogenesis using hydrogen-producing microbial strains. Monitored gas concentration and purity via GC, tracked growth kinetics, and analysed bioenergy output. A hands-on exploration of clean energy generation through microbial metabolism.

Lab-scale conversion of post-consumer food waste into a nutritionally balanced biofeed. Involved nutrient analysis, drying, formulation, and palletisation. Bridging waste management with sustainable nutrition.
